A55K Professional Certification Training Courses through the SMRP
Kansas City Chapter Hosts a Course Feb. 3 – 6, 2020
The Society for Maintenance and Reliability Professionals (SMRP) is offering training that leads to A55K Professional Certification in 2020.
The first course, being offered by the Andrew James Advisory Group (an approved provider of training to the ALN and SMRP), will be hosted by the SMRP Kansas City Chapter.
Held at the Kansas City Medical Center, the training course runs from February 3 – 6, 2020.
For the Kansas City course, non-SMRP members receive a one-year individual SMRP membership with a US chapter of their choice.

The course prepares students for taking the Asset Leadership Network’s A55K Professional Certification that validates a person’s ability to meaningfully participate in an organizations’ Strategic Asset Management Planning process.
A Strategic Asset Management Plan is the best first step in dramatically improving value from an organization’s assets. Many organizations that are using Strategic Asset Management Plans as guided by the ISO 55000 management system for asset management are finding more than 10% improvement whatever they are measuring, such as productivity, profitability, or customer satisfaction.
Another course will be offered through SMRP in the Florida/Georgia region later in 2020.
