ALN Federal Asset Data Handover & Exchange Summit

October 28, 2025 8 am to 3:30 pm – Washington, D.C., Location being determined
4 – 5 pm Linux Foundation Executive Briefing

Poor asset data handover & exchange is like a virus that diminishes almost every organization around the world.

The detrimental effect on organizational mission outcomes is like a global pandemic.

Alignment with asset management best practices is a powerful vaccine.

Multiple federal agencies have established best practices for improving asset data handover & exchanges. They have administered the vaccine.

Positive results include better decision making due to improved line-of-sight from executive offices to assets; funding requests being approved based on trusted data; increasing productivity despite reduced workforce and exiting knowledge base; and measurable financial improvements.

The Asset Leadership Network has the honor of hosting respected forums for federal executives, many of whom have spoken many times at our events on Capitol Hill. We are again inviting representatives from the Department of State, the General Services Administration, Government Accountability Office, the Architect of the Capitol, EPA, and others.

ALN Organizational Members will introduce their federal clients who will provide the owner-perspective insights and repeatable processes followed by open discussion.

We have requested meeting space in the U.S. Capitol Senate Conference Center and we are also willing to have a federal agency interested in this topic to host the event.

A presentation on the U.S. Department of State Overseas Buildings Operations publicly available approach to asset data handover & exchange will be made by the ALN Patron Member who was critical to its implementation. OBO executives are invited to participate.

Our long-term colleagues at GAO are invited to present on recent reports that emphasize or include the importance of proper asset data handover & exchange.

Presentations and speakers will be added to the following list when confirmed.

Those interested in sponsoring the event should contact Mike Bordenaro, Executive Director, Asset Leadership Network at mbordenaro@AssetLeadership.net
