Asset Leadership Network as Effective Altruism

Effective Altruism is gaining ground as a way to “use evidence and reason to find the best way of helping others,” according to Naina Bajekal’s cover story for Time magazine on the subject. The article addresses ways people think about how our actions today directly impact future residents of earth – so does asset leadership. The article talks about how to measure allocation of limited resources to achieve the greatest good – so does asset leadership. And the article states that many people who are active in Effective Altruism were interested in doing good from an early age. Almost all of our ALN Th@3 pm ET web discussion program guests reveal that they have had a long-term interest in doing good for organizations and the world. So…Is Asset Leadership and Asset Management a form of effective altruism, or is it just good sense? Can it be both? Let us know what you think at info@AssetLeadership.net …or join the “Effective Asset Management” movement and have your organization become a member of the Asset Leadership Network.
