Jennifer Tursi, Manager, Technical Committee Operations, ASTM International, has recently received an MBA in Logistics, Materials and Supply Chain Management from Penn State. This adds to her background in product development and allows Ms. Tursi to bring a unique perspective to ASTM International, where she assists development of standards, including ISO 55000.
Daniel Ortiz Plata, is president of the Ortiz Ruiz consulting company in Bogota, Columbia where he consults on asset management projects for mining companies, utilities and other owners of large asset portfolios. He is ALN Senior Fellow for ALN Español. Mr. Ortiz has received ALN A55K Professional Certification. On Wednsday 25 at 6 pm Eastern, he will lead a panel in a Spanish language discusión on the value of profesional training to understand the ISO 55000 series of standards and its application in an organization.

The GSA has updated and publicly launched a new version of www.Regulations.gov as a site for listing regulatory and deregulatory actions for more than 200 federal agencies. The public can access documents and has improved ability to submit comments. Agencies interested in advancing stakeholder involvement can take advantage of improved features at the site.
