Jacobs: Challenging today.
Reinventing tomorrow.

People

Cyril Verley, Founder and President, CDV Systems, is an architect who is also a software expert who helps organizations “harvest” personal property information from their Building Information Models. Mr. Verley has a strong portfolio of college and university clients and was already exhibiting at the Campus FM Technology Association (CFTA) Conference. ALN Platinum Member ONUMA, Inc. learned about the event and reserved a booth next to CDV Systems. They are now exhibiting and presenting together. Now that is networking at a very high level! Learn what their combined activities reveal about combining facility asset management and personal property asset management at colleges and universities by registering for ALN Th@3 pm ET web program this August 3 pm ET at this link.

Connect Human Behavior, Economics and AM

The ALN has come to understand that AM processes and tools work, it is the culture and human behavior issues that are critical to address related to economic impacts on mission outcomes. A National Academies report titled “Behavioral Economics: Policy Impact and Future Directions” provides an extensive set of insights that can have direct impact on successful asset management initiatives. Issues addressed include foundations of Behavioral Economics, Policy Levers, and Evidence from Land Use, Transportation, and Energy Use. See more at this link.
