Ideas

Start an Infrastructure Council

The Michigan Infrastructure Council was created under the state’s Department of Treasury to provide infrastructure asset management training and information to improve the value of infrastructure assets to citizens. This year, representatives from the Michigan Infrastructure Council presented to Minnesota legislators, who then approved the creation of a Task Force to replicate the success enjoyed in Michigan. Consider being a conduit between the ALN and your state as we try to have all 50 states have a council that helps educate, train, and coordinate among many asset owners.
