Special ALN Th@4 Web Chats in October

The ALN Th@4 web chats every Thursday at 4 pm Eastern have become an engaging way for high-level executives to have informal discussions about asset leadership and asset management issues that are important to them.

Because there are typically no slides and the guest and the host have an informal, 30-minute, unscripted discussions about important issues, the format has proven to be highly dynamic and informative.

A few of the chats have had “over time” added on after the formal end at 4:30 pm because the guest and host had a few more items to address.

During the ALN 2020 Asset Leadership Forum – reStructuring America, the ALN Th@4 web chats will be one-hour long and will include multiple guests.

On Thursday 8 October at 4 pm Eastern, Bob Leitch will host an informal working group of federal asset managers who have been networking for more than 6 years and have been contributing to ALN events for more than 4 years. Bob was the USACE Civil Works asset manager for many years and introduced ISO 55000 to his organization. He is now at Woolpert and keeps in touch with his colleagues, who are graciously participating in a web chat with him.

Bob will be chatting with Chris Vick, Asset Management Director, U.S. Bureau of Reclamation; Peter Dodgion, Asset Management Program Manager, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Civil Works; and Keith Hanigan, Deputy Assistant Secretary for Operations, Bureau of Administration, U.S. Department of State.

On Thursday 15 October at 4 pm Eastern, the ALN will host its first all-Spanish web event. ALN Senior Fellow Daniel Ortiz Plata will host the chat.
